Bolivia Team Arrives in Santa Cruz

Tim just called (7:44am) and the team got into Santa Cruz safely at 6:30 am. The LaPaz team left to go to their destination. The Entre Rios team will catch a flight at approx 1:00pm.

Continue to pray for traveling mercies. This is where it could get challenging for the Entre Rios team. And, pray that the LaPaz team will acclimate to the higher altitude.

Thanks for the updates!! I cannot BELIEVE I forgot to catch one of them before they left...my good friend Medana (know her? :o) got me a pair of awesome earrings when she was there two years ago. Well, one of them got stuck in the dryer and the rest is history. Put out an APB that I need another pair, ok? I think the store is halfway down the market street...

Glad to hear they arrived safely. As one who made the trip 2 years ago, I know the adventure is just beginning! Even though the LaPaz group is staying in a nice hotel, it's VERY difficult to adjust to the altitude considering Florida is the flatlands and LaPaz is at 14,000 feet above sealevel. The Entre Rios Teams don't have the altitutde issue, yet their accomodations are less than desireable. Thankfully, God gives grace for each situation, and provides an opportunity for all to give Him glory for what will be accomplished.

Ok, can someone please tell me where Entre Rios is?? I can find La Paz, Santa Cruz and Tarija on different maps, but no Entre Rios. Is it still south on Tarija?
Thanks!

Thank you! Evidence of the fact that, although not in the physical sense, we are all there together in Bolivia with our loved ones.

Entre Rios is very near the Argentina border. They will take a 4 hour bus ride from Tarija south to Entre Rios.

Pray for them as they ride the bus -- it is a very long and bumpy road!

Yea!!! I'm so excited that yet another mission X team is taking place in Bolivia. What stories they will tell when they return of changed lives - both theirs and the Bolivians. Thank you, Tammy, for this blog. It is inspiring to keep up-to-date.
