The six people arrived safely last night in LaPaz after spending 6 hours at the Cochabamba airport. Praise God! They met up with the LaPaz team and spent the morning at the LaPaz church. This evening they will all get together for a party.
The nine people are awaiting to board a plane to go to Cochabamba then to LaPaz. I heard that all 9 will be able to get on the plane! Praise God!
God has been so good. The 9 people were able to enjoy a boat ride today while in Tarija. They also went somewhere (open market?) that had food stands set up. So, they were able to eat some real good food.
Everyone has been embracing this time with so much faith. To God be the glory!

The flight is actually direct to La Paz! It is to depart at 6:30 pm, and Chip thought it to be only 2 hours long. This is great news! Thank you for your prayers! God has been merciful!
Chip just texted me at 7:45 pm saying they are all on their way to the hotel already! They should be able to join all the others for the Farewell Party planned for tonight! How good of God!!
Amazing!!! What a blessing! Yay, thanks, Lord!!!
Glad to hear the good news that they'll be attending the farewell party! I remember it being bittersweet 2 years ago. For it's a time to say "good-bye" to your Bolivian brothers & sisters in Christ, then preparing to come home. I'll be praying God gives them all the strength to finish the journey safely.
God is soooooo good! We (all nine of us) were able to make it safely to La Paz. God designed that trip perfectly and looking back on it, I would not have changed one thing. So, in short, I am so glad I got left behind! We serve an Awesome God that knows our needs better than we do ourselves! Praise be to our Lord and Savior!!!
I am in tears at this testimony of God's goodness. Praise God for His faithfulness!!
Well, the last I heard in an e-mail last night was that NOW they may not all make it on the flight home tonight. Noelle said that she and George may stay back since he does not have to work. SO, don't quit praying yet! She said it is because of the "morons" running the airlines. I am beginning to think it is because they like Americans staying longer in their cities, so that they will buy more! :-) God will get them all here eventually, I am sure!!
We also received an email from Tony, saying possibly 7 people may need to stay behind until Friday (?). He wanted to make sure we were okay with him staying, if needed...and he said he REALLY appreciated taking a much needed hot shower!!
