Chip just called Holly. He said that Johnnie, the pastor is at the airport trying to make sure that everyone will be able to get on the plane this evening. He sounds confident that all will make it.
Last night in snowed in the mountains so when the team awoke, there was snow (which quickly melted where they are at). Needless to say, it is cold there. I'm sure that was a nice surprise for everyone!
Please continue to pray that everyone would be able to get on the plane. Also, that the last day in LaPaz would a time of great joy and reflection of God's goodness.
**Also, I will be posting pictures late tomorrow night of their trip!!

Now that all three teams are in LaPaz, they're being taken good care of by the Dueri family. Johnny Dueri is the senior pastor and his wife Ivonne are wonnderful people. Pablo, their adult son is the person who traveled with the LaPaz team translating for Daryn Kinney. He is a very capable young man, and I'm sure he's doing everything possible to make sure everyone travels home tonight. Fortunately, the airport is about 30 to 40 minutes from downtown LaPaz, so they'll be able to enjoy their last day in the cooler winter weather of Bolivia without any more long bus rides. Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow!
Take a look! These are pictures from the camera of Dave and Brieanna Smeltz (Brie, recenty married, formally Korb)
They were on the La Paz team.
Enjoy!
PS look for the link just above the thumbnails that says "show as slide show"

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing them!
Noelle updates us with the following in an e-mail to Arlene ;
"We are not sure what´s going on yet. It has been constant up and down, one minute we are all going, the next some are going some are staying... But, now things are different. We might not be able to go at all, the airport is closed because of weather. We haven´t told you anything just because we do not know yet. We will let you know when we know whats going on. So sorry to not have any definites. We are ready to come home, but are just trying to hold everything openly, God is Sovereign and knows what we are to do, so we are trusting in him."
For a very good reason are we exhorted to "pray without ceasing!"
Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! I want to go back so badly! I miss that church!!! The pics are great, Paula, thanks!!!
I will be praying as well!
Whenever I copy and paste the picture link, it says "Flickr: page not found." Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hmmm..try to just type it in the address bar and do't use copy and paste.
I am right there with Joy...I can get to the flickr page, but no farther. I typed it in several times exactly as it say and nothing comes. any MORE suggestions?
Maybe you can see if it works typing in up to brielie/sets without the number, then click on the Bolivia pictures - maybe the number is hanging up??
Yep, you were right, Paula! I tried that right after I wrote and it worked. Thanks so much. those are wonderful pics!!!
If whoever cannot get to the web site to view the pictures would send us an email, we will just forward the Korb's email to us, to you. I just did a cut and paste myself from there and it worked.

Tim emailed and Holly spoke with Chip. They both said everything is a go. They will all be able to get on the plane.
